ENISHI-YA

ENISHI-YA

Connecting people with people, and people with products, through the web.

From building websites and systems to running online shops and bringing AI into your work. I use technology to help people meet each other, and find the products they’re looking for.

About ENISHI-YA

Enishi (縁) is an old Japanese word for the bonds and chance meetings that connect people.

Good work comes from good connections. The name reflects my wish to treat every one of them with care.

Services

A one-stop service, from working out what you need to running things after launch.

Website, system and app development

Company websites, business systems and apps. I can help from deciding what to build through to maintenance after launch.

Web design

Design that gets your message across clearly. I think about ease of use and page speed, not just how it looks.

E-commerce setup and management

For anyone who has great products but isn’t sure how to sell them online. I can set up your shop, create product pages and help with day-to-day running.

AI adoption support

Want to use AI in your work but not sure where to start? I can help you find where it’s genuinely useful, then set it up and put it to work.

Projects

MADE in JAPAN.JP

A media site that connects people looking for Japanese-made products directly with the makers who create them.

I plan, build and write it myself, publish it in both Japanese and English, and run it strategically with the help of AI agents. It’s also the best example of what ENISHI-YA can do.

Accommodation media

Yado Navi

Built around the idea that “an ordinary hotel is no fun”, it features around 8,000 distinctive places to stay across Japan, from whole-house rentals and traditional homes to glamping.

Quoting app

Mitsusaku

A quoting app for tradespeople such as electricians, plumbers and painters. Snap a supplier’s price list and AI reads the item names and prices, so quotes can be created and sent from a smartphone on site.

About me

Eiji Hamada

Web engineer & IT consultant

I’ve been doing web development for 20 years, working with companies in manufacturing, construction, beauty, retail, hospitality, elderly care and more.

Beyond development, I also work alongside companies as a consultant, helping them make better use of IT and bring AI into their work. I can help from the very start: working out what to build and how it will be used.

And I love Japanese craftsmanship. I’m always moved by skills refined over many years, and by the small, thoughtful touches made with the user in mind. In 2025 I started MADE in JAPAN.JP to share that care with people in Japan and around the world.

I see my own work as a kind of craftsmanship too, only in the digital world. With skills I’ve learned and refined over 20 years, I build each thing carefully, with the people who will use it in mind. The form is different, but I believe it shares something with Japanese craftsmanship.
